Raeburn Healthcare is a professional Nurse and Care agency providing Registered Nurses, experienced Care Workers and Support Workers in various healthcare settings across North East Scotland.

Raeburn Healthcare has a long-standing reputation for providing very high quality services – as accredited by our Care Inspectorate grading. Inspection reports may be viewed at our office and on the Care Inspectorate website.

Raeburn Healthcare use only experienced staff who have completed our robust recruitment procedure and induction training which is then followed by support whilst working in the community from our Senior Carers ensuring that everyone is working to the same high standard. Additional training is offered to all staff members.

Raeburn Healthcare will agree your needs with you and ensure that charges are clear, with no hidden extras.

We offer a 24 hour on call service manned by experienced staff who give support to service users, their relatives and our team of Care Workers.

Statement of Purpose

Raeburn Healthcare was establish in 1990 and is the trading name of the Nursing and Care division of Raeburn Group Limited, which has provided recruitment services in Aberdeen since 1979. We are committed to providing a high quality and valued service to all clients who may wish to use our services. We have the knowledge and experience to provide assistance to all people, however diverse their care needs may be. All requests for assistance will be treated with respect, and in partnership with our clients, we will aim to provide an individualised service offering choice and personal involvement to ensure satisfaction with the services we provide.

We are proud of our reputation as a professional, reliable and cost effective Nursing Agency. We aim for excellence, by ensuring that suitably qualified and experienced Nursing and Care staff are provided to match the requirements and expectations of all our clients regardless of ethnic background, language, culture and faith.

We provide nurses who have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (U.K.) who work under the NMC Code of Conduct and experienced and suitably trained Care Assistants for placement with the following current Service Users:

  • Occupational Health Facilities
  • Schools
  • Local Authority Care facilities including Day Centres for Older People

Service is provided as per our Terms of Business. 24 hours notice of cancellation or discontinuing the service is required.

All requests for assistance will be treated with respect, and in partnership with Service Users, we will aim to provide an individualised service offering choice and personal involvement to ensure satisfaction with the services we provide.

We will provide staff for however short or long a period you require and will strive to assist even at very short notice should your need be urgent.

We are very proud of the service we provide to our clients with whom we value regular communication, thus enabling us to measure and maintain a consistently high standard of service. We aim to visit new clients as soon as practicable to establish exact requirements and to match suitable staff to individual situations. A 24 – hour on—call service for issues of an urgent nature is available at all times outwith normal office hours. Our in-house office staff facilities this. A Registered Nurse is always second on call for advice and support if required.

The quality of our service is monitored on an on-going basis; we will make regular telephone contact to ensure your satisfaction with our service. We would be pleased to visit on your request to discuss any aspects of our service, and will plan to visit regularly at your convenience to ensure quality standards are being met.

The Care Inspectorate has responsibility for the regulation of Raeburn Healthcare, and to regularly inspect the workings of the Nurse Agency to ensure that National Care Standards are implemented and adhered to with all our clients.
